Our client, a highly respected and long‑established law firm, is seeking an experienced Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsperson to join their well‑established Costs Team.
The successful candidate will handle a diverse workload that will include:
- Preparing Bills of Costs, Costs Budgets and Replies to Points of Dispute
- Drafting documentation for Detailed Assessment Hearings
- Negotiating costs settlements
- Providing costs guidance to fee earners across the firm
What They’re Looking For;
- Previous experience as a Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsperson
- Strong working knowledge of the CPR and relevant case law
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy levels
- Experience using CostsMaster and the ability to prepare detailed Bills of Costs
