Court of Protection Solicitor
We’re looking for a Solicitor or CILEX lawyer (up to 3 years’ PQE) to join a Court of Protection Health & Welfare team, helping people who cannot make decisions about their care, treatment, or living arrangements.
About the role:

Support vulnerable clients and their families with best-interest decisions

Assist with Court of Protection applications

Provide clear, calm guidance in sensitive situations

Work alongside health, social care and rehab professionals

Mix of Legal Aid and private client work
Location & hours:

Based in Durham (some travel may be required)

Full-time, 35 hours, flexible working
About you:

Solicitor or CILEX with up to 3 years’ PQE

Experience with vulnerable clients (family law, mental health, safeguarding or COP work)

Excellent communicator with a calm, empathetic approach

Motivated to learn and grow in a specialist area
