Employment Paralegal / Newly Qualified Solicitor
South Manchester- Hybrid

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Employment Paralegal or NQ Solicitor to join a highly regarded Employment team based in South Manchester.

This is a fantastic role if you’re looking to develop your career within a supportive, close‑knit team dealing with employment law matters.

You’ll be joining a friendly team offering great exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious matters acting on behalf of respondents.

In this position, you’ll be involved in a wide range of employment law work, including:

• Supporting fee earners on Employment Tribunal matters: drafting ET3 responses, preparing Early Case Assessments, liaising with clients and the Tribunal, reviewing evidence, assisting with Preliminary Hearings, and supporting the preparation of witness statements.
• Attending Tribunal hearings when required to provide support.
• Conducting legal research to assist with the development of case strategy.
• Preparing hearing and disclosure bundles and organising case documentation.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective service for clients.
• Managing matters in line with Lexcel and SRA requirements.

What they’re looking for;

• At least 12 months’ experience in employment law.
• Solid technical understanding of employment legislation.
• Confident communication and advocacy skills.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
