I’m working with a well-established and highly regarded family law team who are looking to add a Family Law specialist to their Nottingham office. This is a great opportunity for a solicitor or chartered legal executive who wants to join a supportive team and enjoy a sensible work-life balance.

If you’re someone who cares about clients, enjoys running your own cases, and wants to work somewhere friendly and collaborative, this could be a really good fit.

You’ll be managing your own varied caseload, covering both legal aid and private family work, including:

• Divorce and separation

• Financial matters

• Private law children cases

• Domestic abuse matters

You’ll have the autonomy to run your files from start to finish, including doing your own advocacy, while being supported by experienced colleagues and a team of dedicated paralegals and legal secretaries when needed.

They’re looking for a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with experience in family law, although all levels of PQE will be considered.

You will be confident running your own caseload and have a strong focus on client care. A calm and empathetic approach is important, particularly when working with vulnerable clients, alongside good organisation and time management skills. Clear, friendly communication and a practical, down-to-earth approach to problem solving are also key.
