Law Costs Draftsman

We’re looking for an experienced Costs Lawyer or Costs Draftsperson to join a busy and friendly Costs team based in Hull. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and making a real impact, this could be the role for you!

Previous law costs experience is essential for this role. 

What you’ll do:

• Prepare bills, costs budgets, and replies to points of dispute

• Draft documents for detailed assessment hearings

• Negotiate costs settlements and advise fee earners

• Attend Costs and Case Management Conferences

You’ll need:

• Experience in costs law or drafting

• Strong knowledge of CPR and case law

• High accuracy, attention to detail, and client care skills
