Private Client Solicitor – Team Lead Opportunity – Liverpool

We are working in partnership with a highly regarded regional practice in Liverpool that is seeking a senior solicitor to join their Private Client team.

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a diverse and high-quality caseload while playing a key role in shaping the future of the department.

The Role

You will join a well-established Private Client department with a strong reputation across the North West. As a senior member of the team, you will:

• Manage a broad caseload covering Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, and Probate matters, with the support of an experienced specialist private client team.

• Provide tailored, first-rate advice to clients, delivering exceptional client care

• Take responsibility for supervising and mentoring junior lawyers, supporting their development, and contributing to the wider success of the department overall

• Play an active part in business development initiatives, nurturing existing client relationships while building new ones through marketing, networking, and referral work.

• Work closely with the Head of Department and senior management to deliver departmental strategy and contribute to long-term growth.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulatory requirements, including WIQS.

About You

• Up to 5+ years PQE in Private Client.

• Solid technical expertise across the full spectrum of Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Estate Planning.

• Excellent communication and client-care skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.

• Commercial acumen and enthusiasm for business development.

• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of supervising and mentoring colleagues.

• A STEP qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
