Private Client Solicitor
A highly regarded, multi-accredited regional law firm with a long-standing reputation for excellence is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its respected Private Client team.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a well-structured and supportive practice known for delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong professional standards. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload encompassing Wills, Probate and Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Trust Administration and Tax Return matters.
The role would be ideally suited to a Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of four years’ PQE in private client work, who is capable of handling matters independently while contributing to the collaborative ethos of the team.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing a broad caseload of Wills, Probate, and Estate Administration files

Advising clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney and related capacity matters

Administering trusts and preparing associated tax returns

Drafting complex legal documentation with precision and clarity

Delivering clear, empathetic, and professional client advice

Ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
Essential Criteria:

At least four years’ PQE (Solicitor or Legal Executive) within Private Client law

Strong and comprehensive knowledge of Wills and Probate matters

Proven experience in Trust Administration and associated tax issues

Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills

Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Outlook

Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
