Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Term: Full-Time
Salary: DOE
Location: Stockport
Purpose of the Role
- To independently handle the full spectrum of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
- To support the development and growth of the firm in line with wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client matters accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with Lexcel and SRA regulations.
- Generate fee income and maintain effective control of time recording, WIP, billing and cash collection.
- Attend clients in person and by telephone, delivering excellent client care at all times.
- Prepare correspondence and documentation through the case management system.
- Maintain organised and compliant file management across both digital and paper formats.
- Support and, where required, supervise junior fee-earners.
- Participate in business development and marketing initiatives to support team growth.
- Develop new work from existing clients and build relationships with new referrers.
- Maintain strong IT skills relevant to modern legal practice.

- Highly organised with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience & Education
- At least 5 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing files independently.
