A leading regional law firm with a strong national reputation is recruiting a Senior Employment Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its established and highly regarded employment law team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to handle a high-quality, claimant-focused caseload, working with trade unions, professional associations and private individuals on complex employment law matters.
As a Senior Employment Solicitor, you will:
Manage a varied caseload of employment law matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and redundancy
Represent clients in Employment Tribunal and court proceedings
Advise on contentious and non-contentious employment law issues
Work across multiple sectors including public sector, education, transport, manufacturing and healthcare
Provide support and guidance to junior solicitors and legal staff
Contribute to business development, thought leadership and marketing initiatives
Qualified Employment Solicitor (England & Wales) with 6+ years’ PQE
Strong technical knowledge of employment and industrial relations law
Confident managing cases independently from instruction to resolution
Excellent communication, advocacy and client care skills
Experience acting for claimants, unions or individuals (desirable)
Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
